Hückelhoven-Baal - On Thursday, January 2, a bus was driving along Bahnstraße at around 5.50 p.m. when a muffled bang was heard. The bus driver stopped his vehicle immediately and was able to make out three people who were apparently fleeing into a nearby house.
After an inspection, damage was found to the window at the rear of the bus. The police are now investigating what caused this damage.
There were three passengers on the bus at the time of the incident. One was sitting at the rear exit and two in the back of the vehicle. These two got off after the bus stopped and continued on foot. The third passenger stated that he was not injured.
In order to clarify the facts of the case, the two passengers who were sitting in the back are asked to come forward.
The three people who were continuously observed after the incident were around 18 to 20 years old. Two were wearing dark clothing and one person was wearing jeans and light-colored outerwear. The police are now investigating whether they have anything to do with the incident and who they are. These people, as well as witnesses who may have made observations in connection with the incident, are asked to contact the Heinsberg police traffic commissioner's office on 02452 920 0 to clarify the matter. You can also provide information via the Heinsberg police website or via the direct link: https://polizei.nrw/artikel/anzeige-hinweis.
